Alyssa!!! We are guided by the same Spirit. Wonderful ideas and practices you receive and give in the wind. I'll remember how spoken poetry felt to you, and be encouraged to share what I have hoarded.

For 3 years now I've insisted on using only pencils for my songwriting, notes, and sketches, and have memorized Yeshua's Prayer ("The Lord's Prayer") in Ancient Aramaic - and some other sayings. (That passage "Ask/Seek/Knock" IT RHYMES!) My church allows me to lead worship a few times a year. I gather the chairs into a circle, kids in the center, and sing easy songs no projection or microphone required. Yes, we were meant to have these words in breath and tone, not on paper or screens.

Thank you, sweet friend.

Thank you so much Jonas. And now...because of you...I am going to memorize the Lord's Payer in Aramaic! I've taken to memorizing several poems and it's getting easier. So cool about the ask/seek/knock rhyming. Oh the things I don't know that I don't know (quite a lot of things it seems).

How wonderful to read something so lovely of such substance, it's sorely missing on Substack. Thank you for feeding my heart & soul. Deborah

Your comment means so much Deborah! Thank you. I'm working on a third part to this series, but it won't be done for a while.

I'm so glad it did. I'm still trying to build paid subscribers, and understand marketing on Substack, or I would subscribe to your posts. Keep writing beautifully. Deborah
